  • The number of milk producers fell by 6%
  • The production volumes of liquid dairy products fell by one per cent
  • Butter production fell by 13%
  • Cheese production rose by 5%
  • Milk powder production fell by 18%.

Compared to the previous year, January-December 2010:

  • Milk production rose slightly (0.3%)
  • The production volumes of liquid dairy products was nearly at the same level than previous year
  • Butter production fell by 8%
  • Cheese production rose by 4%
  • Milk powder production rose by 5%.
