Description

The statistics illustrate the on-farm use of cereals and potatoes by harvest year and calendar year.

Content 

The statistics contain data on the use, purchase and stocks of cereals (wheat, barley, oats and rye) and potatoes on farms in millions of kilos. Data is presented by harvest year and calendar year.

Categories

Data is presented for the whole of Finland.

Data collection and sources

Data is collected using a sample survey of farms. Information is gathered by telephone interview as part of the Farm Survey in July and December/January.

Update frequency

The statistics are updated twice a year.

Preparation and publication schedule

The statistics are published in March and September.

Time series

Data is available from the 1920s onwards.
