The Farm Register 2009 is published
The Farm Register 2009 has now been published. The publication contains statistical information on the number of farms, their ownership, production sectors, land use, cultivated areas, the structure of livestock production and farmers.
Among other facts, the publication reveals that in 2009 Finnish dairy farms had 23 cows on average and thirty-year-old farmers had the largest farms in terms of arable area.
