• In January 2012, the inventory levels of food and processed potato were 149 million kilos. Of this, food potato took up a total of 124 million kilos.
  • Compared with mid-October, the inventory balance of food and processed potato was lower by 125 million kilos, and the volume of food potato was lower by 96 million kilos.
  • Compared with January 2011, the inventory balance of food and processed potato was 28 million kilos higher. There was 16 million kilos of food potato more than in January 2011.

The next survey will cover the future crop season’s storage levels and will be conducted on 15 October 2012.
