Number of Bovine Animals
Description
The numbers of bovine animals are entered in the statistics twice a year, and the statistics disclose the numbers on 1 May and on 1 December by cattle category and by Employment and Economic Development Centre. Data on the numbers bovine animals are available also by other regional classifications and herd size. The data are based on the Bovine Register included in the Rural Business Register.
Revisions in this statistic
Statistics on Number of Bovine Animals will be incorporated into new statistics on Number of Livestock starting from statistical reference year 2009.
