• The number of poultry and sheep on the farm grew from last year. The number of pigs dropped slightly.
  •  The poultry included altogether 10,24 million animals on 1,300 farms. There were 3.30 million chickens and 5.42 million broilers.
  •  The number of pigs went slightly down from the previous year to about 1.34 million pigs. The number of sows decreased by 5% from previous year.
  •  There were about 129.000 sheep on 1,400 farms.
