  • the price of milk declined by 18 per cent
  • the price of beef was down 4 per cent
  • the price of pork decreased by 9 per cent
  • the price of eggs declined by 1 per cent
  • the price of food potatoes was down 41 per cent

From January 2009 to December 2009:

  • the price of bread wheat declined by 36 per cent
  • the prices of other cereals decreased by 9 - 31 per cent
  • the prices of rape and turnip rape were down 3 per cent
