During the first quarter of 2013:

 

A total of 498 million kilos of cereals entered the market from farms 

- Proportion of wheat was 184 million kilos (37%). This is 23 million kilos less  than during the previous quarter and 3 million kilos more than during the same quarter in the previous year.

- Proportion of rye was 12 million kilos (2%). This is 2 million kilos more than during the previous quarter and 5 million kilos less than during the same quarter in the previous year.

- Proportion of barley was 173 million kilos (35%). This is 33 million kilos more than during the previous quarter and 24 million kilos more than during the same quarter in the previous year.

- Proportion of oats was 129 million kilos (26%). This is 13 million kilos less than during the previous quarter and 10 million kilos more than during the same quarter in the previous year.

 

Industry used a total of 322 million kilos of cereals. 104 million kilos of cereals were used for food and 145 million kilos for feed.

- Proportion of wheat was 114 million kilos (35%). This is 4 million kilos less than during the previous quarter and same as during the same quarter in the previous year.

- Proportion of rye was 24 million kilos (7%). This is almost same as during the previous quarter and 1 million kilo more than  during the same quarter in the previous year.

- Proportion of barley was 119 million kilos (37%). This is 23 million kilos less than during the previous quarter and 15 million kilos less than during the same quarter in the previous year.

- Proportion of oats was 63 million kilos (19%). This is 3 million kilos more than during the previous quarter and 10 million kilos more than during the same quarter in the previous year.

 

A total of 18 million kilos of rape and turnip rape entered the market from farms. This is 2 million kilos less than during the previous quarter and 3 million kilos less than during the same quarter in the previous year.
